This was the first time that Cas did a display in front of such a big audience, she coped admirably.
Here she is performing to Ricky Martin's Livin La Vida Loca in the YKC Ring.
At Westglen Show, we achieved two things.
1) Only one bark throughout the whole routine - yay!
2) Personal best score of 24.1.
Cas ended up 4th with the winner on 25.4 so it was very close.
Here are Cas and Diz (both rescue dogs) competing in the YKC (Young Kennel Club) ring at Crufts 2003.
Cas competed in YKC National Agility (team), Senior Agility and Flyball.
Diz competed in ABC Agility and Biathlon.
This is a story of my rescue dog's life so far. Cas was rescued at the age of 6 months and is now just about 8 years old, to celebrate her life so far and to show what you can do with a rescue I have made this vid.
Cascade (7 year old rescue WSD) competing at Rugby HTM Show 24.02.2007. Performing in Intermediate Freestyle to Glen Miller's 'In The Mood'. Final result - 2nd place scoring the highest marks for musical interpretation and content, scoring low on accuracy - the barking!!
Seeing as we haven't been able to get to training this week I got my Chris Zinc A-z Jumping out (as Rum had been knocking poles at Newton Heath) and set up some sequences.
It's not fowl, it's simmply eggcellent!
It was Easter Sunday at a dog agility show in 2007, when this little one turned up ringside for a go round the pay on the day class.
Many thanks for Dashin Dogs letting the little chick have a go, it really made its Easter!
Here's Cas at Paws in the Park, first run showing her completing the course with me just having a gentle amble around the middle, do I really need to be there?
Some clips of other runs follow.
Here's my 4 year old sheltie - Rainway Forever Ember doing some agility in the garden this afternoon.
She is currently working Grade 5 Agility with a Comb 1-7 Jumping win, unfortunately she never seems to see the weaves in the ring (is it down to her CEA?) She's a fab little dog though
Agility, tricks and canine freestyle compilation with her 22 yr old owner/handler/traine r. Music - Shania Twain's 'She's Not Just a Pretty Face'

This was Cassie's 2nd Advanced Class and with a new routine at PNM Show, Paws In The Park. I am going to change it as it doesn't look brilliant, at home she is great with her creeps but in the ring she is too over excited and the routine isn't calm enough (causing her to bark!!). Am not happy with it so it will change.
This is Bryer (Iskander Red Alert), a 14 month old Australian Shepherd (born naturally bobbed), my Rum's best mate! Bryer will start competing in Grade 3 agility in the UK in July 2007. Handled and owned by Carol D.
At Westglen Show, his first show at 16 months old competing in Starters HTM. He came home with 4th, clever boy, was so pleased with him, got a bit distracted towards the end and missed a couple of cues but overall he was a star.
Cas competing at Agility Addicts May show 2007. She won two novice agility classes and an open connector.
Featured on the video is the winning novice agility round, winning open connector round and novice final run (5f - missed see-saw - she had the end in sight!)
Here's Calca (Inoby Pinterry Dancer) competing at Tuffley agility show. She is a 4 year old aussie shep and is handler/trainer - Carol's first agility dog. She is also cousin to Bryer. Calca means star, hence the song :-)
