After having two big steaks donated for a party, and not making use of them AT said party, I figured it's about time to cook these puppys up. I heard from my buddy Dan who gave them to me that they were a little on the large side... I didn't expect to have steaks the side of a calf...

Recently I made the (unwise) decision to buy a Desert Eagle EBB (Electric Blow Back) that I saw in a dollar-store back in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Turns out it has a laser, but shoots at about 60 fps. I'm so disappointed with myself.

This is the original movie trailer for (in my honest opinion) one of the best movies to hail from Japan in quite a long time. The movie is called Casshern and is based off of an older anime from the early 80's.

Here is a bit of a tour from the center of Saskatoon to as far out South-West as you can go in the city, and actually beyond that a little bit. I'll bring you through the downtown core, Meewasin park and even out to the Queen Elizabeth Powerplant. It's nothing amazing, but it'll give you a bit of an idea what Saskatoon is all about

During a final mission, both teams were required to find three 'sticks' of plutonium that were scattered throughout the field. Our team had managed to find two of the three sticks, sadly though our entire team was eliminated in one final push by the 'resistance'.

A one-hit-wonder skit filmed for Japan One Television (A Japanese TV station). Although it's made to look as a Japanese house-hold, most of the cast is actually Chinese-American and are from the United States. The mother is South-Korean and the father is the only Japanese actor amongst them.
Odd.. yes indeed, racist.. depends on how you look at it. Funny... I'm ashamed to say!

Since I injured my ankle at work two days in a row, I had to start going to the physiotherapist. Not only does he pull my tendons on my spine but he also damn near makes me cry. Sorry, when it comes to pain, I'm a wimp!

This is one of the first Japanese music videos I ever saw and for the longest time I thought it was from Thailand as I couldn't read the kanji, didn't know the language and certainly didn't know the band. It wasn't until I moved to Japan that I discovered who it was and what the song name was!

Someone on one of my past videos to take a chance and drive up/down some of the West areas of Saskatoon. Well I took their advice and did it, showing some of the not-so-bad streets as well as some of the skummiest streets around. Enjoy!

This morning I heard that a truck exploded on the freeway! In fact, I heard 5 loud BANGS this morning! Turns out that no... a truck did not explode... it caught fire after a small accident and then it's tires blew out. What a let-down!

Well I figured it's about time that I try some of the foods from down at the Eastern Market. Here is a tasty little tidbit called mochi, or rice-cake. Effectively it's pounded sweet rice with some sort of filling (more often than not).
In this case, it's custard mochi. Would I buy it again? Only if I was REALLY hungry.

This is a little bit of an older video but I can't help but share it with the world. These are a few fellas from (apparently) out in Ontario who just could NOT unstick Tony's Geo Storm. They called upon Zack who owned a larger Chevy truck. Unfortunatly he didn't hear the guys yelling 'stop'....

Another set of walking through Sakuragicho in the evening. Here's another great reason as to why I think Sakuragicho is the most amazing part of Yokohama.

Yesterday a group of about 12 of us went out to Table Mountain in Northern Saskatchewan to do some snowboarding. It had been over a year since I had last gone and I sucked just as much as I did last time (which is quite a bit). This time though, I had more than one person to make fun of me when I fell, what fun!
