One of my favorite songs. I also like Kasey Chambers cover, may post also. Saint Genevieve,Mo. south of St. Louis was threatened by floods in 1993, people came from all around to help save this small town. It's one of the early European settlements west of the Mississippi, founded in 1735.Jay wrote about it in this song. Enjoy.
