Here is a demo of the chinese made version of the VOX 847
It is not worse i think, but different, has more hi end and less lo end. Doesn't cut the highs as much as my old VOX wah when not engaged.
At the end i show a different side of it, in fix mode, i just left it on and in about center position and achieved a great Nuno Bettencourt sound this way, try it, you will like it:)
