Pasukan Khas Laut (Special Maritime Unit, PASKAL) is an elite navy commando unit and special operations force in Malaysia. "PASKAL" was formed on October 1st 1982 with the explicit purpose of enforcing Malaysia's maritime claims through sea, air and land operations (similar to the United States Navy SEALs).
