Hmm... looks like this will be an interesting LP. I don't even finish one LEVEL in the first episode! Wow! It's tough, that's for sure, but so far it doesn't seem like the "cheap" kind of tough, which is a good thing.
Progress! Kinda. I make it to the mini-fortress, but I'm not yet at the Boom Boom battle which so many people have told me about. I am really excited to see what it's like... it couldn't be worse than the various battles from SMB3 Challenge, could it?
This is a very short video which took me a very long time to make. When all was said and done, I really thought I had at least 10 minutes worth of footage... turns out I was wrong. Oh well. At least I manage to beat World 1-5 without slitting my wrists! Cool!
(In the next video, I complete three stages in one episode. Quite a change, huh?)
FINALLY! In this episode, I leave World 1 behind forever!!! And so far, World 2 doesn't seem... all that bad. I guess. We'll see!
Thanks for sticking with me on this journey!
Either the hack is starting to get easier, or I'm just getting more used to it... starting to know what to expect, etc. These few stages were definitely the most genuine fun I've had in the game so far! It's come a long way from... the waterfall with the... you know... yyyeah.
Sorry for the initial lack of description and title... apparently, YouTube decided it didn't like them, and just threw them on the floor.
Anyway! In this episode I beat a couple of levels or something. Thanks for watching!
Yyyeah. I finish up the level from last time, then finish another level, then... yyyeah. Suffice it to say, I don't have too much love for Big Bertha. Yyyeah... uhh... hmm. No words. Just death.
Thanks for continuing with me on this journey!
The tone of this episode is... somber. I ended up re-recording the episode dozens of times, and frankly I just wanted to get it over with. It's definitely not my best work. But, hey! I do manage to beat a stage or two. I think.
Water water everywhere, but not a drop to DIE!
In this episode, things go pretty okay... and I discover World 3's dirty, dirty secret. At least, I think I do.
Thanks for watching!
We accomplish our first goal in Dahlia Valley, defeating the game's first boss in, what, 20 seconds? Next it's off to the fortune teller, where we gain a new ability and lose an old one. Oh, and now we have a dog following us around, in case we get hungry.
Okay, what the HELL was wrong with me when I made this? Seriously, I sound depressed. I wasn't, though. Tired? Maybe... I didn't even upload it after I finished with it, because I fell asleep...
We finish up the intermediate obstacle course, snagging a shiny Silver Medal for our troubles. Then we wander off to a beach, where we find... Sonic the Hedgehog?
Yeah. If you saw my "50 Subscriber Special" then you know what to expect here, except this time it's full of win instead of FAIL FAIL FAIL.
In this episode, we gain an awesome new companion, who lets us run faster and jump further. Cool!
In this episode, we become... a MONSTER! And get attacked by... a HUMAN! Thus causing us to learn that violence is wrong! Wow... a twist worthy of M. Night Shyamalan!
In all seriousness, this is a fun little section of the game. Thanks for watching!
In this video (which is a direct continuation of the last one, since I went over the 10-minute mark), we go back to Rafflesia and complete the final obstacle course! Now we have all three medals, and we can get the Holy Sword!
...right?
Sorry folks, I had to delete and re-upload this guy because I accidentally uploaded an incomplete version last time. (If you missed it, the version I uploaded had a pretty big chunk which I hadn't yet edited out.)
Anyway! In this episode, we don't get the Holy Sword, so we go to a desert and play in some sand whirlpools. Yay!
In this episode, we gain a new party member: a dinosaur named... wait for it... Dinosaur! Yay! (Say, did I mention he suffers from clinical depression?) We also get to the top of the Tower of Babel, only to fight one of the strangest bosses in the game (and THAT is saying a lot). Oh, and I almost die or something.
In this episode, we make it to Penguy's home of Freesia, gain a new animal companion, "rescue" an old "friend", and end on a self-imposed cliffhanger. Yes!
In this episode, we find out what happens when I smack that little bag with my sword! Then we fight a big slime-like boss who KILLS ME... but that's okay because I kill him too. Then we somehow wind up in Leviathan's Temple. Let's go!
Okay, I give up... starting with the next video, if I can't think of a clever title, I won't settle for a dumb corny one. Had this rule been in effect already, this episode would have been called "Leviathan's Temple, part 1" or something.
Anyway! This time we wander around underwater for awhile, looking for Leviathan (or at least a way out). Cool!
I got so into it this time that I never once checked the clock. Whoops! Next time I'll show you what I fast-forwarded over... at normal speed, of course... assuming I remember to do so. Hey, I finally have a game pad! Yay!
